Jewish Man Slapped in Face in Boro Park

A Jew was assaulted in Boro Park Tuesday evening by an assailant who wordlessly attacked him as he walked down the street, according to Shomrim and the NYPD.
The incident occurred at 8:46 p.m., on the corner of 36th Street and Minna Street.
Surveillance footage shows the assailant standing on the sidewalk. When the Jewish man walks by, the assailant whirls and slaps him on the head, knocking off his hat.
No words were exchanged in the assault.
The victim, 31, suffered pain in his head but did not require hospitalization.
Shomrim surrounded the suspect, 34, until officers from the 66th Precinct arrived to make the arrest.
The suspect’s name and the charges have not been announced.
