Dramatic Footage of Hostage Rescue in Rafah Released

The IDF on Monday afternoon released footage of its overnight hostage rescue in Rafah, in southern Gaza.

The operation involved members of the Shin Bet security agency and the police’s elite Yamam counterterrorism unit.

The forces breached the second-floor apartment at 1:49 a.m., killing three terrorists guarding the hostages.

Simultaneously, the Israeli Air Force conducted massive airstrikes against Hamas terrorists in the area to support the extraction. The hostages were successfully taken in armored vehicles and transported by military helicopter to Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan for examination, where both were listed in good condition, baruch Hashem.
