An ABC/Ipsos poll released on Sunday found that 86% of Americans believe that President Joe Biden is too old to serve as president of the United States. Biden is already 81 years old, and would be 86 years old by the end of his second term if he were to be elected.

The poll was conducted on February 9 and February 10, after Special Council Robert Hur released his report which mentioned that although Biden knowingly mishandled classified documents, he would not bring charges against him because Biden would present to the jury as an elderly man with a poor memory.

In other questions asked in the poll, Trump was deemed more trusted on the economy (43% to 31%), on crime (41% to 28%), on inflation (41% to 31%), and immigration (44% to 26%). On gun violence they were in a virtual tie, with Trump favored (33% to 32%).

Concerning the wars around the world, Trump was ahead both in Israel-Gaza (35% to 27%) and Ukraine Russia (36% to 33%).

Biden was favored in education (37% to 30%) and healthcare (38% to 28%).

The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.
