Break-In At Boro Park Health Food Store

Police are searching for a man who allegedly smashed the windows of a Boro Park health food store and made off with thousands of dollars early Thursday morning.
The owner of Health Emporium, located on 13th Avenue and 50th Street, called Shmira immediately after seeing his store completely ransacked. Surveillance footage showed the suspect enter the establishment at around 4 a.m., by throwing a rock at the glass window of the store, after trying unsuccessfully to breach the door with his body weight.
Once inside, the suspect emptied out the cash registers, and made off with approximately $5,000 in stolen cash, before fleeing while carrying a garbage bag.
