Reciting Kaddish at the grave of one of those killed on Simchas Torah.

Amidst ongoing efforts to commemorate victims of the Simchas Torah massacre in southern Israel and the subsequent war, the Chessed Chaim V’Emes organization has recruited 730 volunteers to recite Kaddish daily for the civilian victims and the fallen soldiers of the war. With 543 additional casualties remaining, the Chessed Chaim V’Emes organization appeals for more volunteers. “This initiative ensures the memory and commemoration of the victims,” noted an organization representative.

The Chessed Chaim V’Emes organization was established by Dror David Amos, a former IDF officer with 25 years of service. The organization supports bereaved families in facilitating the recital of Kaddish, as well as the observance of shivah, sheloshim, and other needs during the year of mourning.

“Many of the fallen lack someone to recite Kaddish for them, particularly those with deceased parents or only young children,” said Amos, emphasizing the organization’s pivotal role during this period.

The organization has mobilized hundreds of volunteers to recite Kaddish in memory of the victims, Hy”d.
