Aviator Brand Sundried Tomatoes Recalled Due to Undisclosed Sulfites

Global Veg Corp has recalled its sundried halved tomato products due to an undisclosed ingredient which can be dangerous to people with certain allergies. All lots and codes of the company’s 5-pound “AVIATOR brand Sundried Tomato Halves”, are recalled, due to the possible presence of sulfites.
People who have a severe sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume this product.
The recalled products were distributed nationwide, in vacuum-sealed bags. No illnesses or adverse reactions involving this product have been reported to date.
Consumers who have purchased the products, are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund, and can contact the company at 201-367-0517.
