Police Search for Suspect in November Williamsburg Hate Crime

Police released images of the suspect in a November hate crime in Williamsburg Monday, asking the public for assistance in finding the alleged attacker.

On November 22, at approximately 6:28 p.m., a man on a bicycle threw a rock and made antisemitic remarks at a 45-year-old Jewish man, as the latter was walking in front of 9 Montrose Avenue.

The alleged assailant then fled the scene; the victim sustained a laceration to the right leg as a result of the attack.

The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating the incident.

The suspect is described as an approximately 5″10 tall 25-year-old man.
