U.S. Warship, Commerical Ships Attacked in Red Sea

A U.S. warship and several commercial vessels were attacked in the Red Sea Sunday, the New York Post reports, citing Pentagon statements.
“We’re aware of reports regarding attacks on the USS Carney and commercial vessels in the Red Sea and will provide information as it becomes available,” the Pentagon said.
While the U.S. did not identify the source of the attack, Yemenite Houthi rebels have struck vessels in the Red Sea, along with missile and drone attacks aimed at Israel.
The Houthi group said it attacked two Israeli ships Sunday; Unity Explorer and Number Nine, with an armed drone and a naval missile.
