A 22-year-old man sustained a minor head injury amid a series of rockets launched toward central Israel on Motzoei Shabbos.

The man was struck by shrapnel in Holon.

In the immediate aftermath of the rocket barrage, reports indicated at least five interceptions successfully occurred over central Israel.

Two rockets struck different areas in southern Tel Aviv, while a rocket fragment was reported to have landed near Ganei Modi’in.

Additional rockets were either intercepted or fell into the sea.

The armed wing of the Hamas terror group, the Al Qassem Brigades, later issued a statement saying it had bombarded the Tel Aviv region with a barrage of missiles.
