Cabinet Secretary Calls Reports on Prolonged Ceasefire ‘Fake News’

Yossi Fuchs, the Cabinet secretary, took to social media on Wednesday to provide a guideline for discerning genuine news from misinformation, after many news articles suggested Israel was nearing a full ceasefire with the Hamas terror group.

He wrote, “Regarding any reports linking a hostage release deal to the end of the war or an extended ceasefire = fake news.”
