White House Believes a U.S. Hostage in Gaza Will Be Released Sunday

White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said in an interview with NBC on Sunday that there was “reason to believe” a U.S. hostage would be released from captivity in Gaza on Sunday afternoon.

Sullivan said he hopes Avigail Eden, 4, will be released from captivity as part of the third round of hostages set to be released according to the Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement.
