14 Israeli Hostages Handed Over to Red Cross

The release of Sunday’s third group of Israeli hostages from Hamas captivity has begun, sources said. An IDF spokesman confirmed that 14 Israelis, among them nine children, as well as three foreigners, were transferred to the representatives of the Red Cross, late Sunday afternoon.

In contrast to the first two groups, the hostages were met by the Red Cross representatives in the northern Gaza Strip and are expected to travel the long journey to the Rafah Crossing.

There is a chance that they will enter Israel through a different, closer, crossing.
