Israel Facilitates Evacuation of Gazan Newborns for Urgent Medical Care in Egypt

In a coordinated effort involving the IDF, COGAT, Egypt, and Shifa Hospital, a crucial operation was conducted on Monday to ensure the safe transport of newborn infants from Shifa Hospital in Gaza to Egypt for urgent medical treatment. The collaboration, initiated at the request of Egypt and the hospital director, was overseen by U.N. teams and supported by IDF personnel on the ground.

Israeli incubators were provided to Shifa Hospital to aid in the rescue and transfer of these infants to Egypt. This concerted effort reflects the ongoing dedication of the IDF in upholding humanitarian principles and extending aid during moments of crisis within Gaza.
