Suspicious Item Found Near Shul in Lakewood

An item, appearing to be a grenade, was found Sunday morning near a shul in Lakewood.
The suspicious item was located at 4th St and Forest Ave., near the Satmar beis medrash.
The grenade was later removed by the NJSP Bomb Squad. Baruch Hashem, it was empty.
