After Initial Meetings, Netanyahu Lands in New York

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu landed in New York early Tuesday morning, local time.

The Netanyahus were met in New York by Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Mike Herzog and Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Gilad Erdan.

Later on Tuesday, Netanyahu is expected to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Paraguay President Santiago Peña.

“This is a very important visit for Israel, which will include meetings with the main leaders of the world, including the President of the U.S.A,, the President of Ukraine, the Chancellor of Germany, the President of South Korea, the President of Turkey and more,” Erdan stated in a social media post, adding that Netanyahu would also meet with heads of Jewish organizations and communities.
