Father and Son Killed in Huwara Terrorist Attack; IDF Launches Manhunt

On Shabbos afternoon, a terror shooting attack in Huwara resulted in the deaths of two Jews, Hy”d.

In response, the IDF has launched efforts to locate suspects and establish roadblocks in the volatile vicinity of Huwara in the northern Shomron.

The victims of the attack have been identified as Shai Nigreker, 60, and Aviad Nir, 28, a father and son from Ashdod.

Despite initial efforts to save them, the two men succumbed to their severe wounds.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad hailed the attack as “heroic” and “a natural response to the crimes of the occupation.”

The latest deadly attack came amid heightened security tensions in Yehudah and Shomron.

Huwara in particular has been the scene of deadly Palestinian terror attacks over the past few months.
