A neighborhood organization is offering a cash reward as police search for two suspects in the robbery of a kosher pizza store in Crown Heights last week.

The owner of Railroad Pizza on Kingston Avenue was in his store at around 11 p.m. on May 8, after the shop was closed, when two men claiming to have guns ordered the victim to lie on the ground and empty his pockets.

The pair, seen on video wearing hoods, gloves and masks were able to enter the establishment through an open street cellar door. The store owner was preparing for an event to be held the following day when the intruders came in.The victim was kept on the floor for around 10 minutes, before the suspects made off with his cell phone and credit card.

A community organization, the Jewish Future Alliance, is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that will lead to an arrest of the perpetrators.

“These perpetrators knew what they were doing and exhibited sophistication, wearing gloves and masks, Rabbi Yaacov Behrman, Founder of the Jewish Future Alliance said in a letter advertising the reward. “Such brazen behavior should shock every New Yorker. We need to unite as New Yorkers to protect our city. If you recognize the perpetrators, please report it to the NYPD. We all love New York City and have a responsibility to keep it safe.”
