Hamodia is saddened to report the petirah of Rabbi Yehoshua Fishman, z”l.
Rabbi Fishman was the longtime Executive Vice President of Torah Umesorah for over a quarter of a century, and had served as the Rav of Congregation Beth Jacob Ohev Shalom (CBJOS) on Rodney Street in Williamsburg for four decades. He had previously been a rebbi in the day school in Vineland, New Jersey.
The levayah is scheduled for Friday morning, February 10, at 9:30 a.m. at Shomrei Hadas, 3803 14th Avenue in Boro Park.
