Law enforcement have arrested a suspect believed to have lit and thrown a Molotov cocktail at the front door of a Bloomfield, New Jersey temple, NBC New York reported.

The suspect was identified by the FBI as Nicholas Malindretos, 25, of Clifton. He is expected to face federal arson-related charges.

Surveillance footage captured a man lighting and throwing the Molotov at the door of Temple Ner Tamid early Sunday morning. Police said that the bottle broke but the device failed to detonate. No injuries or property damage occurred.

Officials familiar with the investigation told NBC that Malindretos was tracked through video of his vehicle going to and from the temple and a license plate reader. Officials say he has a history of emotional issues.
