Simcha Felder Hosts Boro Park MetroCard Service Drive
By Matis Glenn

State Senator Simcha Felder is hosting a MetroCard drive in Boro Park on Tuesday, to provide residents with assistance in managing their public transportation needs.
The “MetroBus,” a mobile unit, will provide application assistance for senior MetroCards, exchange them if they’re damaged, and allow card holders to report them lost or stolen.
The bus will also help MetroCard holders purchase new cards, add money, and transfer funds from damaged full-fare MetroCards.
Eligible seniors who wish to apply for reduced-fare MetroCards can complete their application, which they will be guided through, in one visit, and receive a temporary card on-site. Applicants are required to bring their government-issued ID’s and Medicaid cards.
Services will be available from 10 a.m. till 12 p.m., and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., on the corner of 13th Avenue and 52nd Street.
