Ben-Gvir to Speed Up Gun Permit Applications

In response to the deadly Yerushalayim shootings that left seven people dead, Hy”d, and five wounded, a proposal to ease the firearm licensing process in Israel is expected to be presented by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.

Ben-Gvir is looking to speed up the interview process of the gun permit application, as well as the waiting period for approval after the interview.

To speed up the whole process, Ben-Gvir plans to double the number of employees at his ministry’s Firearms Licensing Division.
