IDF Comes Under Fire in Chevron

Israeli soldiers came under fire Tuesday morning in Chevron when terrorists attacked their vehicles with bombs.

The incident occurred outside the town of Beit Ummar, where soldiers also came under live fire, according to an IDF report.

Local officials said that two Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces, one near Chevron, and the other, in a separate incident, near Ramallah.

The IDF has been conducting almost nightly raids across Yehudah and Shomron since launching Operation Breakwater, a counterterrorism campaign that began in the summer in response to deadly terror attacks earlier in the year.
