YERUSHALAYIM – Israeli military chief Aviv Kohavi said his mission was accomplished, after returning from a visit to Washington, where he met with senior American defense officials about the military front against Iran.

“In order to improve our capabilities toward the challenges in the region, joint activity with CENTCOM will be significantly expanded in the near future,” Kohavi, the outgoing chief of staff, said in remarks provided by the IDF on Thursday.
