BD’E – Rebbetzin Aidel Goldberger, Medier Rebbetzin, A”h

Hamodia is saddened to report the petirah of Rebbetzin Aidel Goldberger, the Medier Rebbetzin, at age 97.
The Rebbetzin was the daughter of Harav Shimon Satin, zt”l, Rav of Megied, Czechoslovakia. After surviving WWII, she married Harav Pinchas Asher Zelig Goldberger, zt”l, author of Minchas Asher, who assumed the position of Rav of his father in law’s town.
The Rav and Rebbetzin immigrated to America where they established the Medier Beis Medrash in Kew Garden Hills in Queens, NY.
Their son, Harav Yonasan Binyamin, zt”l, was the Bikovsker Rav, who was a son-in-law of Harav Shlomo, the Bobover Rebbe, zy”a, and served as the Rosh Kollel of Bobov for many years. Their son, Harav Leibush, shlita, has led the Medier Beis Medrash in Boro Park for the past four decades.
The levayah will take place at the Medier Beis Medrash at 1714 52nd Street at 6:15 p.m.
