MDA Reports Over 500 Wounded This Week
On Thursday, MDA medics and paramedics provided medical treatment for 41 wounded, 3 of whom were lightly injured by shrapnel, and 18 who were injured on the way to a protected area. This includes an 87-year-old woman who slipped in her home in the Ashdod sector and was pronounced dead after resuscitation efforts by MDA staff. Two victims were moderately hurt, 15 were classified as minor. There were 20 people injured in riots, of which 4 were moderate and 16 minor. 21 people were treated for anxiety.
From the beginning of the rocket fire on Monday, May 5, 7 deaths were reported, and MDA medics and paramedics provided medical treatment to 523 wounded.
