Get Tested for Coronavirus in Boro Park and Williamsburg

BROOKLYN

Testing for the new coronavirus will be made available at Asisa Urgent Care in Boro Park and Williamsburg, to people exhibiting symptoms or who have been exposed to someone with the coronavirus.

“After we got three positive test results in the last day, we felt the responsibility to set up these testing sites in all of our locations, in order to stem the spread of this virus throughout our communities” said Dr. Giuseppina Feingold, medical director of Asisa.

People should only come to be tested if they are exhibiting multiple symptoms among chest pain, runny nose, low-grade fever, and most importantly a dry cough.

Appointments are not necessary.

Asisa staff emphasize that people should not come if they haven’t exhibited symptoms or exposed to someone with a positive test. Those who do come without such conditions will not be tested – and may be exposed to the virus from patients in the office.

Following are the locations and times for testing:

Boro Park

1530 43rd Street – 4:00 p.m. to midnight
5902 18th Avenue – From 4:00 to midnight

Williamsburg

687 Myrtle Avenue – 9:00 a.m. to midnight
