Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has reportedly improvised a kind of power-sharing deal of right-wing ministers to preserve peace in the coalition.

In order to compensate MK Bezalel Smotrich (United Right) for the Justice portfolio, which he insists was promised to him, he was offered the Ministry of Public Security—plus an equal say on Justice policy with Likud MK Yariv Levin, who will be the minister, according to the Kan public broadcaster on Monday night.

In addition, the United Right would be awarded two seats in the diplomatic-security cabinet, one for Smotrich and one for United Right Chairman, Rabbi Rafi Peretz.
