Danon Denies Reports of His Resignation
Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, is denying reports of his resignation Wednesday.
Danon is a former Likud MK and minister, who has served as Israel’s ambassador to the U.N. since 2015.
Following the coalition’s decision to head to early elections, there were reports that Danon was going to resign, ahead of a run in the Likud party primaries prior to the election.
But a Danon spokesman told Hamodia that no decision will be made before the Knesset officially votes to dissolve. The vote is expected Wednesday night.
