The yeshivah world was plunged into mourning Wednesday upon learning of the petirah of Hagaon Harav Avrohom Chaim Levin, zt”l, Rosh Yeshivah of Yeshivas Telshe in Chicago.

The Rosh Yeshivah, a member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah of Agudath Yisroel of America, was hospitalized several months ago. He was able to recover enough to be able to return to yeshivah to deliver shiurim, but was niftar on Wednesday morning at the age of 90.

The levayah will be held 4 p.m. (Central Time) at the Telshe yeshivah in Chicago. Thursday morning, a levaya will take place in Lakewood at 9:15, and the aron will then be brought to Eretz Yisrael, where a levaya will be held Friday morning before the kevurah in Bnei Brak.
