Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah Meet in Yerushalayim

The Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah of Agudas Yisrael in Eretz Yisrael, discussed on Sunday how to advance the law that enables yeshiva students to continue their Torah studies, as well as the continuation of the draft exemption for religious girls and other current issues.

The Moetzes convened at the site of the executive committee of Agudas Yisroel in Yerushalayim, with the participation of the Rebbes, shlita, of Ger, Vizhnitz, Sanz, Boyan, Seret Vizhnitz and Modzhitz.

The Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah received a report from the Agudas Yisroel Knesset members regarding the actions they’ve taken to advance the passage of the law that enables yeshiva students to continue their Torah studies without interruption. As well, the actions being taken to ensure that there will not be any changes made to the existing procedures for granting draft exemptions to religious girls.

The Rebbes instructed the Knesset members on how to proceed in regard to these issues.

The members of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah also discussed additional topics that are currently facing the charedi community.

The Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah granted their bracha to am Yisroel, in advance of the Yom Yov of Matan Torah which is approaching.
