BDE: Mrs. Marianne (Mirla) Meyer, A”h
Mrs. Marianne (Mirla) Meyer, was niftar Tuesday morning, at the age of 86.
Mrs. Meyer was the secretary of Bais Yaakov of Boro Park High School for more than 50 years. and the mother of noted askan Reb Yanky Meyer. She was a sister of Harav Yaakov Michoel Hirschman, shlita, rosh kollel in Toronto.
The levayah will be held Tuesday afternoon in Boro Park. Per the nifteres’s request, there will be no hespedim.
At 3:30 p.m., Tehillim will be recited at Bais Yaakov High School, at 15th Ave and 45th Street. At 4:00, the levayah will proceed to the nifteres’s home at 1558 52nd Street. Kevurah is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, New Jersey. She will be buried in the Viener chelkah next to her husband, Reb Yisroel, z”l, who was niftar four years ago.
