Two Jewish Men Brutally Assaulted Friday Night in Crown Heights

Two Jewish men were brutally assaulted by a group of three black men and two women while walking on Eastern Parkway on Friday night, according to CrownHeights.info.

A resident who heard screams from the street from her window immediately called Crown Heights Shomrim, who discovered blood all over the sidewalk with no victims.

One Shomrim volunteer followed the trail of blood all the way to 770 Eastern Parkway, where they located the victims of the brutal attack, one of whom was being treated by Hatzalah. The man was later transported to the hospital for treatment and was subsequently released.

After Shabbos, the site said, the witness that called Shomrim told them more details. She said that she heard screaming from the street and saw a group of five blacks attacking the two Jewish men – one of whom was lying on the ground.

Following the assault the group fled towards New York Avenue.

It was unclear what circumstances led to the assault or if a police report had been filed.
