The N3 highway in Johannesburg, South Africa, was the scene of drama on Monday afternoon as robbers opened fire on two Jewish men, a father and his son, wounding both of them, reported South Africa’s eNCA news service.

The N3 Highway connects Johannesburg and Durban and is divided into 12 sections, starting with section 1 in Durban and ending with section 12 in Johannesburg.

The two men had just drawn money from a bank in Edenvale and were traveling on the N3 North, just before the Buccleuch Interchange, when they were shot at by five robbers, wielding AK47 machine guns.

Edenvale is a quiet town near Johannesburg.
