Levayah of Moshe Yitzchok Grunfeld z”l held on Friday

After a heated battle with the London Coroner’s office, the levayah of Moshe Yitzchok Grunfeld z”l was held on Friday afternoon, bring a sense of closure to his tragic death. Following the nineteen-year old bachur’s drowning death, the calamity had become the latest standoff between the local Kehillah and Coroner, Mary Hassel, who has delayed burials and insisted on invasive autopsies on multiple occasions. Last Friday morning, Hassel announced that the results of the digital scan were sufficient and released the body soon after. The levayah was held mid-day beginning at the Grunfeld home before continuing to the Satmar Beis Medrash.
