$127 Million Lottery Sold In South Fallsburg
SOUTH FALLSBURG, N.Y. – A $127 million Mega Millions ticket was purchased Friday at the South Fallsburg Food Mart, the Daily News reported. “Whoever purchased this ticket is about to have their life changed forever,” a lottery spokesman said. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus.
Travel Agent Ordered to Sell House to Repay Victims
WOODBURY, N.J. – A travel agent was ordered to sell his house and car to repay 20 customers who paid for a Mediterranean cruise that never happened. A judge told Ellis Hester she should have sent him to prison for reneging on the deal to pay $400 a month. He still owes $41,000.

Birthday Party for Rockland Couple Married 82 Years
SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. – The oldest married couple in New York on Saturday celebrated their birthdays at their Spring Valley home — with a combined age of 212, the Journal News reported. Duranord Veillard, 108, and his wife Jeanne, who turns 105 in May, grew up in Haiti and moved to the United States in 1968.

NY Legislators Approve Delay In Electronic Prescriptions
ALBANY – New York legislators voted Friday to postpone until next year the March 27 deadline for doctors to issue only electronic prescriptions, saying many still lack the required federal approval. A spokesman says Gov. Andrew Cuomo will review it.
