Brooklyn’s Jews Gather in Memory of Har Nof Kedoshim

Jews in Brooklyn are gathering to honor the memory of the four Kedoshim killed as they davened Shacharis in Har Nof Tuesday.

The Flatbush shuls of Harav Avrohom Schorr and Harav Moshe Tuvia Lieff announced a mass kinus for Tuesday evening “as an awakening to teshuvah.”

The kinus at Harav Schorr’s shul, Khal Tiferes Yaakov, was scheduled for 8:15, during which the Rav and Harav Elya Brudny, Rosh Yeshivah of Mir, were to address the crowd.

In Harav Lieff’s shul, Agudath Israel Bais Binyomin, the Rav and Rabbi Chaim Dovid Zwiebel, executive vice president of Agudah, were to speak at 9:30 p.m.

Mindful of the 24 yesomim left behind by the victims, talmidim at the Rambam Mesivta in Lawrence announced Tuesday a project to raise a minimum of $25,000 for orphans of the families.
