NY Students Improve in Math, Hold In English
Most New York elementary and middle school students still aren’t on track to graduate ready for college, but education leaders saw progress in gains in math across all races and economic levels, a state report released Thursday says. It was the second year tests were based on the controversial Common Core curriculum.
