A Loving Home
MIGDAL OHR, in the northern development town of Migdal HaEmek, is home to some 6,000 boys and girls from the age of one month right up to their weddings, and takes care of all their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs. In 1991 it was presented with The Best of the Decade award for educational institutions in Israel.
There are day-care centers, kindergartens, elementary schools and high schools. The students learn religious subjects on a very high level, as well as professions and trades, all taught by excellent teachers and with state-of-the-art equipment.
Migdal Ohr marries off their residents too, and many graduates go on to become staff members of the home they grew up in.
The students enjoy fine living quarters and good food, clothing, and medical care. There is also a Foster Home Village. None of the families are charged tuition or any other fees.
