Revolutionary War Burial Lands Federal Grant
A Hudson Valley group working to preserve the largest burial ground for Revolutionary War soldiers received a nearly $25,000 grant from the federal government’s American Battlefield Protection Program, The Associated Press reported. The Friends of the Fishkill Supply Depot will use the funds to create maps of the site of Gen. George Washington’s major supply depot during the war.
