Glenn Beck: I Bought D-Day Flag at Auction

NEW YORK

Conservative radio host Glenn Beck revealed Monday that he was the anonymous bidder who paid $350,000 at a Manhattan auction last Thursday for a U.S. flag that flew over a ship at Normandy on D-Day. The 48-star Navy ensign, referred to by Beck as “the 20th century’s Star-Spangled Banner,” had a price estimate of $35,000.
