NY Panel Starts Seeking Casino Applications
State regulators said they will weigh local support from community groups and businesses as they put out requests for applications Monday for casinos in the Albany area, the Catskills and the Southern Tier.
Regulators say they will seek exhaustive information on finances, background and plans. They also said they will consider a broad array of local opinion.
