Eighteen Charged in NY State Unemployment Scam
Eighteen Albany-area residents who scammed New York State out of $150,000 in unemployment benefits were arrested in a weeks-long investigation, The Associated Press reported. The suspects were receiving unemployment checks while they were working, in the amounts of a low of $3,000 to a high of $22,000.
