Harav Nissim Karelitz, shlita, Recovering After Surgery
Harav Nissim Karelitz, shlita, one of the generation’s leading poskim, successfully underwent surgery at the end of last week at Mayanei Hayeshua hospital in Bnei Brak.
Rav Karelitz was already reportedly well enough to daven in his hospital room and was able to answer certain questions in halachah, as well.
Rav Karelitz is the Rav of the Ramat Aharon neighborhood in Bnei Brak and chairman of the halachah committee of Mayanei Hayeshua.
Although doctors said the complex operation was successful, the public was asked to continue davening for the full and speedy recovery of Harav Shmaryahu Yosef Nissim ben Basya.
