The Firefighter Winter Games are returning to upstate New York, where more than 300 firefighters from 32 fire departments across the state are expected to hone their skills by taking part in several competitions, including tube races, a sled pull, and a hose relay beginning Friday in Cortland. That’s the largest field of competitors to date for the nine-year old event.
