Hikind Wants Thicker Muni-Meters Receipts

NEW YORK

Muni-meter receipts should be thicker than the ones used now to prevent wind gusts from blowing them away, Assemblyman Dov Hikind wrote in a letter to the city’s transit authority. The Brooklyn Democrat said that he has received “numerous complaints” about muni-meter receipts blowing away. Thicker paper is utilized in other countries such as Israel, he said in a statement.
