3 Charities to Benefit From Christie Inauguration
Gov. Chris Christie’s inauguration committee selected three charities to receive money raised through his second inauguration, which will be held next week on Ellis Island. A nonprofit fundraising group for the island, Save Ellis Island, is one of the recipients. Another is New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, which is hosting an inaugural service, and the third is New Jersey Heroes, a group started by first lady Mary Pat Christie which provides college scholarships for veterans and high school seniors.
