Third Buffalo Employee Admits Stealing From Meters
A former municipal employee on Friday became the third in Buffalo to plead guilty to stealing from city parking meters, the Associated Press reported. Francis Tronolone embezzled $9,000 over several years from meters he was supposed to maintain, keeping a cooler in the back of his vehicle to stash stolen coins; he faces up to 10 years in prison.
