Gov. Chris Christie will be holding a party on Ellis Island, a symbol of freedom on land shared by New York and New Jersey, following his second inauguration, his inaugural committee announced Tuesday. His swearing-in is scheduled for Jan. 21 in Trenton with the celebration that night.
