Woman Survives 75-Foot Slide in Car
A New York woman who drove 75 feet down an embankment in Bear Mountain State Park walked away unscathed.
The woman, identified only as a resident of Pearl River in Rockland County, refused medical attention.
Firefighters used ropes to lower themselves down the steep incline and hoisted the woman on a stretcher to the street. Robison said the car hit several trees but appeared to be “fixable.”
