Activists to Hold Holocaust Vigil at Iranian Mission
A Holocaust memorial vigil will be held at noon Sunday in front of the Iranian Mission to the United Nations in Manhattan. Prominent elected officials and civic leaders, including Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn), will be addressing attendees.
“We need to constantly remind the public and our elected officials of the imminent danger posed by Iran’s nuclear program and anti-Semitic rhetoric,” Hikind said. “Israel is consistently demonized by Iranian and like-minded propagandists with one intent — to destroy her.”
The commemoration is organized by the Yom Hashoah Mobilization Committee.
